Light, my point

Light, my point

Within the articulate path of Lumen Ray show , at the Jerome Zodo Contemporary gallery, dedicated to the many aspects of light, my aim was to cause a circuit-cut in the common idea we have about it. When i run across the iron rusty iron weight that i suddenly titled “light” , i realized  i had exactly the statement of everything that common places about light don’t say. Light IS weight , light IS rust, light IS mass.  The work “light” doesnt  work like the conceptual mechanism f nominalism, where the “name” finally overcomes the object itself. It’s not a “ready made” as commonly thought. It is an iperrealist work , it’s a proper “still-life”. A still-life showing the non-perceivable facts of life, but then it’s not even a metaphore. It is as it is: not a declaration. It is a lab specimen and at the same time alters yur perception of a light thought as lamps, reflection, leds and whatever else fascinating yet quite banal ideas about the “fact” light.
